Stitches Used: cast on, knit, knitting with beads, bind off
Measures: 7 1/2″ long and 2 ” wide
Gauge: in knit stitch, 16 stitches and 28 rows = 4″ by 4″
Note: if desired, instead of knitting with the beads, you can sew the beads on after you have knitted the bracelet.
-Materials-
- 1 skein Red Heart Super Saver, brown – 364 yds (100% acrylic) (or leftover worsted weight yarn)
- size 9 knitting needles
- 3 alphabet beads
- 6 black pony beads
- clasp
Bracelet
- String on the yarn, 3 pony beads, 3 alphabet beads, and 3 more pony beads.
- Cast on 30 stitches.
- Knit 4 rows.
- K 4, bring down a bead, k 3, bright down a bead, k 3, bring down a bead, k 2, bring down a bead, k 3, bring down a bead, k 3, bring down a bead, k 2, bring down a bead, k 3, bring down a bead, k 3, bring down a bead, k4.
- Knit 4 rows.
- Bind off.
- Weave in ends.
- Sew clasps onto both sides.

i like it but what type of clasps do you put on it? is their a way to do a braid tie off for it to tie??
I used lobster clasps for my bracelet. I would recommend using a clasp or just sewing the bracelet together. I don’t know how to make a braid tie off, but you can give it a try. :)
this would be pretty for spring in baby yarn in pastel colors! or if a wedding is coming up, how about making colors to match the bride’s maid’s dresses?
The question is what does “bring down” mean?

P.S. Remember you only have to thread 9 beads onto your yarn for the bracelet. [3 pony beads, 3 alphabet beads, and 3 more pony bead (or in any order you’d like)] :)
One more thing, you can omit knitting with the beads and simply sew them on later, if you find that easier. ;)

I love your bracelet pattern. Have made four so far and am going to make at least one more for Christmas. I use metal silver-tone alphabet beads and toggle clasps from JoAnn. I either spell out the name or an inspirational word, such as believe.
